Privacy Notice

This notice explains what Dovah Advisors (“we”, “us”) collects through dovahadvisors.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email consult@dovahadvisors.com.

The short version

• We collect only what you choose to give us: your email, and anything else you type into a form.
• This site sets no tracking cookies and loads no advertising pixels.
• We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not follow you across sites.
• We never sell your information.
• You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time.

What we collect, and when

When you use the Time Tax calculator. If you enter your email or ask for a teardown, we receive your email address, any name, company and role you add, and the numbers and tasks you entered, so we can send your results and reply personally.

When you send the contact form. Your name, email, company, role, country and message.

When you answer “Do you need us?” and ask us to follow up. Your answers and your email.

When you book a consultation. Bookings run on Cal.com. Cal.com receives your name, email, the time you pick and any notes you add, and shares them with us so we can hold the call. Cal.com handles that information under its own privacy policy.

When you take part in the Thursday Teardown. The long form runs on Google Forms, which handles your answers under Google’s privacy policy. We see what you submit.

When you simply visit. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, processes the technical details every website receives (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Our visitor counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports totals such as page views and countries without cookies or individual profiles.

How we use it

• To reply to you and do what you asked: send results, write a teardown, hold a call.
• To follow up about your request. If you would rather we didn’t, say so and we will stop.
• To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To understand which pages are useful, from the cookie-free visitor counts.

We do not use your information for automated decisions about you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Where it is stored, and who else touches it

Form entries go to a Google Sheet in our Google account. Email runs on Zoho Mail. Bookings run on Cal.com. The website is hosted by Cloudflare. These providers process information on our behalf and may store it outside your country. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it for the reason you gave it to us, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you become a client, records of our work together are kept as long as accounting and tax law require.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email consult@dovahadvisors.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or California law) you may have further rights, including complaining to your local data protection authority.

Security

We protect what you send us with access controls and encrypted connections. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take it seriously. Our Security and data page explains how we handle client data during engagements.

Children

This site is meant for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters, we will say so on the site.
